The end and the beginning
Well people, I have the parrot disease. I got it at work, went to the doctor, the doctor sent public health to inspect Work, and now Work is angry. They won't say that reason of course, but they've decided not to lengthen my contract anymore because of communication slips. I bicker with Boss and Colleague too much.

My contract will end at the end of this month so i've decided I need a break. I've always wanted to go to London :D So I booked me a ticket! *Dances!*

Do any of you live around London, friendslist? :)

(As you can tell i'm really crushed and upset about getting "fired" *Snicker*)

You get parrot disease from handling sick birds, mainly parakeets. It's in their crap o_O I clean 18 birdcages every week and we have a lot of sick birds at work, so yeah.. I have to handle their crap a lot ;)

You get difficulty breathing, ye cough, ye get a fever, headaches, stuff like that. It's probably chronical. (Not always though)

That's terrible that they let you go because of that. Ruud said you could file a complaint somewhere about this, but I forget where now. I'm sure you know though.

This could be a good thing.....( not parrot disease ) .... I get the feeling that you were not so happy working there anymore. Might be a good time to get married and start a family ::Snort:

Best wishes on your new journey.

PS - London ain't nowhere near here! LOL

Damn, parrot disease... I hope you can get rid of it eventually. Do they have good medicine to treat the condition?

As for being fired at that gardening centre, that might not be such a bad thing. I always thought that place is holding you back in progressing your talents in not a very kind way. I was only hoping you would quit before they fired you. oh well. Yes, have a vacation and then start fresh again!

Is there any change that I see you Thursday BTW? :)

Well actually it's probably chronical because it took too long before I got the meds. (I had been walking around with it for over a month before the right bloodtest had been made, they actually tested me for the STD (soa) Chlamydia instead of Parrot disease!) So nope, looks like it's stuck on me.

I am looking forward to a new start indeed, if only I could get mum off my back. She can be so persistent, every damn day (sometimes several times a day) she nags that I should go to the CWI and find a new job, for gods sake, "gun me wat rust"! *Sigh*

And no, I already made plans for thursday :( A week ago things were very bad at work, and I was not sure wether I could keep my job or not. And so it was hard to tell wether I could go with you guys or not. But now that it's certain i'll lose it, i'm not cancelling any more appointments. ...And then I discovered Sis has already invited me over to Minirock. (A tiny rock festival at her workie) I had forgotten about that :( So no, no Kröller for me this time. You guys have fun though :)

Groetjes Rachel
